Its presentation is simple, with the company's logo highlighting its most notable features on the front. It comes with a user manual, small guides, and a micro-USB cable for charging.

With a vertical design measuring 128 x 90 x 90 mm and an intermediate weight of 488 grams, it is easy to handle and hold on any surface. The speaker comes in an entirely black color with color tones that light up once powered on. Its structure is primarily composed of a durable metal grille with a soft rubber coating (for protection against light impacts), and it features a cord for convenient carrying or hanging.

It also has an IPX6 rating, ensuring protection against solids and liquids that could damage the electronic components. For instance, this product has no issue being placed next to your pool. Additionally, it features TWS (True Wireless Stereo) technology, allowing music to be played using two identical units connected simultaneously.
It is equipped with 40mm drivers, offering an output power of 2*8 watts, a frequency range of 20Hz – 20KHz, and is compatible with Bluetooth V5.1, with a range of up to 10 meters.

On its top, you'll find the play/pause buttons, volume (+/-), and the power on/off button. There's also a tiny LED indicator that turns red when it's charging.
With a thick rubber cap (which doesn't get lost when handled), it has a USB-C input (5V1A) for charging. It also features an auxiliary input.
User Experience
Handling the speaker is easy, and its robust design is appreciated. We started by pairing the speaker with both a PC (Windows 10) and a smartphone (Android), with the process being very quick. We tested it by playing a variety of music tracks to assess its power and the clarity of both highs and lows.

The two rainbow effect rings (on both ends of the unit) stand out aesthetically, giving it a much more attractive and eye-catching visual appearance from any angle.
Its output power is within acceptable parameters, delivering good bass, though slightly washed out, and adequate treble. However, it’s advisable not to exceed 80% of the volume to avoid distortion. Its battery life is impressive, with an estimated 5 hours of playtime depending on the volume level and usage time. The charging time is relatively fast.
There are some limitations, but overall, it offers an acceptable sound quality that works well for different types of music, especially in indoor environments, where its presence is more noticeable. Here's a sound sample captured on video (to give you an idea of what to expect):
Conclusion
In this case, we have a wireless Bluetooth speaker from Moonki with TWS functionality (allowing you to pair another device of the same model), delivering sound quality that is acceptable for pairing with portable devices such as laptops, smartphones, or tablets. It doesn’t come with a microphone, but I don’t consider that a downside for this product, as personally, it's not something I would use even if it had one.
Among the many wireless Bluetooth speakers available on the market, the Moonki MO-R88BT stands out due to its robust build, ease of handling, and a visually appealing color ring that gives the illusion of a gamer model, even though it isn’t one.
Overall, it offers a good presentation, delivers acceptable sound, and, most importantly, is an economically accessible option if you’re looking to create a pair of speakers.
In Argentina, distribution is handled by HDC. You can find it in stores like Musimundo, Frávega, and Carrefour, among others.
